Travel isn’t just about snapping photos, it’s about enjoying in the beauty around us. That’s why we created Monumeat, the first (fake) fast food that invites you to slow down. We serve buns filled with photos of monuments, so you won’t have to capture them with your phone. Because people shouldn’t “devour” the places they visit like any fast food, they should savor every moment.

We are four Communication Design students, currently studying at IED in Rome. Our different backgrounds and shared love for design, bring a unique perspective to every project we undertake.
We aim to challenge conventional ways of thinking and create impactful work that resonates with people.
Together we created Monumeat, a project born out of our desire to raise awareness about mindful travel.
Our hope is to bring this initiative to other cities across Italy, expanding everyone the message of mindful tourism.
We believe design can be a powerful tool for change, and through this project, we hope to spark a deeper connection between people and the world around them.
